On June 11, 2008, Weizhi Group was granted the honor of Advanced Workers' Team by Xi'an Federation of Trade Unions and Party Working Committee of Xi'an Hi-tech Development Zone for the outstanding contributions made during the period of earthquake relief and rescue work.
Bai Shixing, executive vice chairman of Xi'an Federation of Trade Unions, pointed out in the meeting that as the leading enterprise in Shanxi apparel industry, among the six relief participating companies, Weizhi Group is the only one that spontaneously organized personnel and participated in the rescue work. Board chairman Xiang Bingwei personally led the relief team to the quake affected area and joined the relief work. The spirit is admirable and worth learning. Meanwhile, Weizhi Group has always taken charities as important work presenting the styles and features of the Weizhi people, which are consistent with the corporate concept "kindness, honesty, wisdom and diligence".
Xiang Bingwei expressed that Weizhi group will throw itself into more charity activities in future and try every effort to make more contributions to the society.
