National Home Textile Standardization Technology Committee (NHTSTC)set up its Bedding Branch Committee. This will promote the work of Chinese bedding technology standardization and a symbol that China step up to meet the international practice in the bedding technology standardization.
The members of NHTSTC Bedding branch are technicians involving in production, using, research, selling, inspection, as well as from education, government and associations.
According to the provisions of WTO, when the nation set up its technology regulation and standard, it should follow the existing international practice. Liu Shuangqiu, the director of NHTSTC said in the current world, only those who hold the advanced technology standard could enjoy the right of initiative and speak, then control the market. The establishment of NHTSTC Bedding branch is helpful for Chinese bedding manufacturers to participate in the global competition. Yang Donghui, the President of China Home Textile Assocation said the bedding branch committee has the responsibility to draft and promote the national bedding technology standard. Jiangsu Menglan Group is granted by National Standardization Manangement Committee as the secretariat unit of the NHTSTC Bedding branch and prepare the drafting of related bedding standard. Menglan Group has the experience of participation of the drafting work of six national standards and five industry standards, including the GB5296.4.
